Culture Pass: A New Program for Library Cardholders
It's summer in the city and NYC libraries are making it easier for you to explore local museums, public gardens and other cultural attractions with your friends and family. Brooklyn Public Library, Queens Library and the New York Public Library are excited to announce Culture Pass, a program for cardholding patrons ages 13 and older.
Using your library card, you can reserve a pass and get free admission to more than 30 cultural institutions across New York City, including The Met, Wave Hill, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, the Children’s Museum of the Arts and many more.
To get started, visit the Culture Pass website to learn more.
There is a lot of excitement about this new program and many library patrons are reserving passes for the summer dates. If tickets are already booked at your desired institution, we encourage you to check the availability of other locations or try to book a pass at a later date. We hope you have fun discovering more about your city!
Support for Culture Pass is provided by The New York Community Trust, Charles H. Revson Foundation and Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
